When first encountering Apple Valley Dental and Orthodontics, it
becomes obvious that we are a little different than most dental
offices. Our award winning architecture and fun atmospheres are the

bringing specialists and generalists together under one roof we are
better able to deliver quality dentistry in a convenient way. Our
staff prides themselves on being friendly, well trained, and ready
to insure that you have the best dental experience possible.
What to Expect on your First Visit?
Children: We pride ourselves on creating
the best first dental experience possible for your child. Our
assistants enjoy working with children and have been trained to put
your child and you at ease. Before your child sits in the dental
chair, your assistant will introduce herself/himself to you and
your child and ask if you have any questions or concerns. Parents
are encouraged to accompany their children in the dental exam room.
During their time in the dental chair, your child will
receive needed x-rays, a teeth cleaning, oral hygiene instruction,
an exam, and fluoride. The dentist will sit with you and your child
and explain his/her findings and answer any questions that you may
have. Upon leaving, your child will receive a special toy and be
scheduled for their next appointment.
Adults: We strive to make your first and subsequent visits to the dentist the best possible. Please be prepared to spend at least one hour with us for your first visit. During your first visit we will need to collect and enter needed health and personal information, take needed x-rays, chart existing dental work and periodontal information, chart and enter needed dental work, and finally explain the needed dental work and financial information. While this process can be time consuming, it is our belief that quality dentistry has no short cuts.
AVDO Policies
- Please come to your initial visit at least fifteen minutes early to fill out needed paper work. If you would like to speed up your appointment, please print and complete your new patient forms to bring to your first appointment.
- Please give at least 24 hour notice for cancellations so we can accommodate patients waiting for emergency exams
- You are ultimately responsible for your bill. Insurance quotes are not guaranteed. We are happy to pre-authorize all dental treatment if you would like to know your exact out-of-pocket expenses.
- Failing two or more appointments may lead to being expelled from the clinic.
- All Patients less than eighteen years of age must be accompanied by a guardian.
- Payment is due at the time of service.
Insurance & Payment Plans
- We accept most insurance and are preferred providers for Washington Dental, Guardian, Premera Blue Cross, Regence Blue Shield, and Metlife.
- We accept DSHS for patients less than 21 years of age.
